  • AIAG and VDA Process FMEA Certification Exam

    Live Virtual Training

    Competency qualification by AIAG in the AIAG & VDA FMEA Handbook verifies an individual's competency in failure mode and effects analysis techniques. This exam, with a focus on PFMEA (as defined in the AIAG & VDA FMEA Handbook Chapter 3), confirms the individual's ability to apply and communicate the PFMEA methodology and, as a result, successfully support the identification and management of risks when using a PFMEA. This is an online exam that requires the participant to use a device capable of streaming content through video, which will be retained to determine any testing irregularities. The participant agrees to keep their camera active and unblocked at all times during the exam. Any recorded content will be deleted after exam grading is completed. Please note that the participant has seven days after the exam period's start date to complete the exam. Attention should be paid to the start date, as the participant may not have a full seven days to complete the exam

    IATF 16949:2016 places an increased emphasis on first and second-party auditor qualification, and this exclusive 5-day training program is the highest level of auditor training available to automotive suppliers. The course is designed to prepare first and second-party auditors to meet the requirements of IATF 16949:2016 and customer requirements of FCA, Ford Motor Co., and General Motors Co. This is the only IATF 16949:2016 training that combines the AIAG Supplier Auditor Certification with the ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor Training. A final examination is included at the end of the course. In accordance with internal and supplier auditor competency requirements defined in IATF 16949 Section 7.2.3 and 7.2.4, participants are encouraged to complete the AIAG Core Tools Self-Assessment (CTSA) to assess proficiency in the core tools, prior to attending auditor training.
