Designed for professionals who import automotive goods into Canada as Non-Resident Importers (NRIs), this instructor-led session provides a practical introduction to the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) Assessment and Revenue Management (CARM) system. Participants who are new to CARM will learn what the system is, why it matters, and how it changes the way importers register, account for goods, manage financial security, review statements, and pay duties and taxes.
Led by a trade expert from Livingston International, the session connects CARM regulations directly to automotive supply chain operations. Participants will gain a clear framework for managing Non-Resident Importer (NRI) obligations, account portal setups, financial security options, and compliance risks to ensure uninterrupted cross-border shipments
